I am a survivor of childhood leukemia (ALL).  I am now in my 30's and I suffer from chronic depression/PTSD.  I have had great difficulty coping with the long term effects of cancer...and how this is affecting my current life and will affect my future.  It is exhausting.  Most days I wonder why it is worth fighting this battle everyday.  I have been to a therapist (both social worker and psychologist).  However, nothing seems to have a lasting result on my daily mood.  Are there any survivors or parents of survivors who have had successful treatment for depression and/or PTSD?  I have read most of the research, but that doesn't help solve the problem.  Thanks you!

Perhaps you can find some info on the CHOP page:

Hi Liz, I, too, am a survivor of ALL and I am in my 30's. I was treated at CHOP and I am from the Philly area. Your story is familiar to me. If you accept my friend request on here I will then be able to send you a message. Perhaps we can exchange thoughts and experiences. You are not alone!

I would try detoxing my body. It won't hurt you and could help.  Go to my website http://www.Labratnews.com
