Childhood Cancer Awareness Month represents an annual opportunity for supporters nationwide to focus on and bring awareness to the challenges of childhood cancer.  This year, there will be a series of events taking place in Washington, D.C. to help achieve our goal to eliminate childhood cancer.  Our organizations have come together to coordinate efforts, educate lawmakers, and ensure that our voices are heard in the nation’s capital.

46 moms of children diagnosed with cancer, from all parts of the country, have partnered with St Baldrick's to raise $1 Million by shaving their heads at Union Station in Washington, D.C.

CHILDHOOD CANCER SUMMIT

The second Childhood Cancer Summit, led by the co-chairs of the Congressional Pediatric Cancer Caucus, will be a panel of pediatric cancer experts and advocates, speaking on the unique challenges of childhood cancer.  Nancy Goodman founder of Kids v Cancer  will be a panelist and Rally Foundation Spokeswoman Ashley McCann will be delivering opening remarks.

Introduction of the Creating Hope Act

Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX) and Congressman G.K. Butterfield (D-NC) will be introducing the Creating Hope Act in the House of Representatives.
