Childhood cancer kills more children in the US than any other disease. Each year, 13,500 children under age 20 are diagnosed with cancer. Each day, 7 children are lost to childhood cancers. Yet, it remains the silent killer, with little public awareness and very little funding for research to find a cure. September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and the map below shows how you can support some great childhood cancer charities during September. Please find an event in your area and join the fight to cure childhood cancer. More childhood cancer facts can be found here.
