Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I think this project would go best in the support section under Grant a Wish & Free Stuff

Feel Better Friends project

Feel Better Friends are handmade dolls stuffed with love and well wishes and then donated to children with cancer and other illnesses. These FBF dolls are meant to comfort the child through difficult situations and hopefully help them understand more about what they are going through. Each doll is specifically made for each child. We try to recreate the likeness of the child in his or her doll. To receive a Feel Better Friends doll please fill out the request form found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1YseSg-hop35JgkUHpVV1mrG_ECJgYKL6ZymBCf9rlGw/viewform?usp=send_form This form gives me, or one of my volunteers, all the information and photos we need to make the child's custom doll. If you would like to know more about this project or want to see more FBF doll photos please visit www.facebook.com/myshanonigans or http://shanonigans.com/2014/06/15/question-and-answers/

Thanks!  20 years later, I feel more than ever how much we need to push for change and funding.  Our children deserve our best efforts, even after they are gone, but never forgotten...

I wouldn't know what college kids do... I am a 44 year old mother of two, the oldest is 16 and she will be a 12-year survivor of ALL in Jan 2013... I am going back to school. It wasn't meant to rip on the government...but to prove a point. I chose the topic because it was Childhood Cancer Awarness month, I was interested in knowing more about the funding or lack of it...if anything, I opened the eyes of my classmates, with the exception of one.I learned a lot and that is the most important thing. I am there to get an education and in the process I was able to spread awareness. Mission accomplished.

Thanks again,
