Join People Against Childhood Cancer
welcome to PAC2 and great news for Willie being NED! We are a community of parents, friends, survivors, medical professionals, childhood cancer organizations (CureSearch, Alex's Lemonade Stand, Make-A-Wish and others) and concerned citizens, all with the same goal - eradicate Childhood Cancer.
My first initiative was the Childhood Cancer Awareness Petition. The Petition was started before Stand Up 2 Cancer, and now has over 14,000 signatures with the objective to have a major TV network produce a show solely on Childhood Cancer. To be childhood cancer's "Inconvenient Truth" moment.
The format is unique. You can have friends, post photos and videos, blog, participate in Forum discussions, start Groups about your interest, chat live with other members, promote fundraisers or join a Group that is focused on your interests in childhood cancer. It's interactive and will continue to evolve.
While all those features are nice, it still takes ACTION. This is truly the reason PAC2 started. Each day or so, I will feature some ideas for members in the highlighted section on the home page called "Stuff to Do Today". This is where I call on each member to participate and act. You can get started here.
