In my case, my father died of a malignant tumor, son has a low-grade brain tumor, and I had a benign brain tumor removed. In addition, we have seen other family members succumb to other cancers: breast, multiple myeloma, melanoma, stomach and pancreatic, and renal cancer. Some of our Board Members and many of our volunteers are parents who have children who are survivors or who have lost their battle to a brain tumor. Many children with brain tumors and their friends also volunteer. In regard to CBTF-MD the majority of Board Members have had family members who have dealt with other types of cancer as well. The stories are countless. All of us need to "Stand up to Cancer." Our website (email@example.com)has personal stories.
