Taylor was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in Sept 2006 in her Right arm and shoulder. Taylor had 10 months of chemotherapy, she also had reconstructive surgery on her arm and shoulder in Dec 2006. Taylor has a allograft(donor bone) in place of her humerous bone, a titanium ball and socket, screws and a steel plate. Taylor just recently had another surgery on her arm a month ago. Taylor's bone was not engrafting to the donor bone so she had to have a bone graft, repositioning of the bones, with bone marrow taken from her hip and pelvis. Taylor is doing well, and sees the Oncologist and her surgeon in Sept for a recheck. I think it is great that this page is here for all of us to be able to help each other if needed. Support here will be great.
