Kayla was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma just before turning 4 months old. She suffered major complications and almost lost her life several times in the first days of diagnosis. She battled on and survived the first "wave" of treatment. Unfortunately the cancer was relentless and progressed to Stage 4 and became non-responsive to chemotherapy. Days after Kayla turned 15 months old - about one year into her treatment - Kayla lost her battle and went to Heaven to join many warriors that battled before her. I am dedicated to her and this cause ... forever. We have started The Kayla Weber Believe Foundation and are active with CureSearch (Colorado State Team Co-Leader).
