My daughter Bethany Ependymoma Brain Tumor Survivor
Optional question where you can tell us more about you, your child, your reasons to be here, or simply introduce yourself.
Hi my name is Lisa and my daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was two months old. She had chemo but relapsed 16 months later. So we flew to Loma Linda California where she had proton radiation in 2004. Since then she has been tumor free and is now 7 years old. She gives us the strenght to keep fighting for a cure for this terrible disease.
I have two other children Melaina is my oldest and will be 13 soon, our son is Noah and he is 9.
We live for each day since we don't know what we will be faced with tomorrow.

Hi Lisa, it's nice to meet you. We actually live in Palm Desert, CA and Natalie had her surgeries at Loma Linda, which is an hour from us. We didn't stay at Loma Linda for treatment because we chose to go to St. Jude. instead.
It sounds like Bethany is a little fighter- she looks like such a cutie!
