I am the founder of a not for profit organization that makes and sells friendship bracelets to raise money for pediatric cancer research. We also provide bracelets to current patients. We try to do our part to make people aware of the lack of funding received by pediatric cancer!

1 in 5. That's how many kids won't survive their cancer diagnosis within the first 5 years. 1 in 3 children diagnosed without cancer will not live-out a normal life span, many of them dying before 30. And for those that do survive, life is never normal. Approximately 2/3rds of survivors face life-long side effects. Not to mention the emotional impact it is guaranteed to have on the whole family.
