Optional question where you can tell us more about you, your child, your reasons to be here, or simply introduce yourself.
I am president of CCCF-WWA and the Washington State Team Leader for CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation because my son Cory died from ALL when he was nine years old. He was diagnosed at age three. He told me that my job was to help others who were going through the same difficult journey that we had trod.

if you go to the Story Room, just click the link, you will see what others have done in the past. Essentially, just write your story! In as much detail or not as you want. I can't see making it an advertisement for your book :), but certainly want to hear about it! And of course, Cory's story. That's a start. Once you write it up just let me know when you are ready and I will give directions on how to post it. Thank you so much!
I was hoping I could convince you to write a Guest Column for PAC2. It would be featured on the Home Page from Fri-Mon, with your story, mission, goals. It certainly helps spread the word about each organization, and would hopefully bring you support and perhaps someone who needs your help. Past columns have been done by CureSearch, Alex's Lemonade Stands, St. Baldricks, Camp Quality, Rally Foundation, and SuperSibs. You can read them here.
Glad to meet up with you again. Thanks for taking me under your wing and showing me the "ropes" in Wash. DC at the CureSearch event. I sure learned a lot, and it felt good to be striking some blows against childhood cancer. This PAC2 website is a great way to get people mobilized in the fight against "the beast".
How are you doing? I'm still having my ups and downs.
I am glad to see you here! This is a wonderful website. I am excited to see how it is uniting all of the hard work people are doing to raise awareness about Childhood Cancer. I'm sure your experience will be invaluable to the group.
I hope you will join the PAC2 NW group.

Welcome to the PAC2. Please take the time to get acquainted with this site, check out the blogs, sign the Petition (if you haven't already), read the Mission Statement; then get involved. Thank you for joining up, every voice matters!
Also, please join the PAC2 NW Group, you'd make a very welcome addition there just as you already do here.
I'm very sorry for the loss of your son Cory, but he was a very wise young man; he knew what needed to be done and his legacy will live on because of his forward thinking.
Take good care and God Bless,
