RECENT NEWS:
Team Henry delivered 11 more Wii’s to Riley on March 10 and Team Unite’s own Austin McGowan was chosen to demonstrate the units. That brings the grand total up to 22 Wii's. The Foundation is also almost ready to go live.......www.henrytuckerfoundation.org.........feel free to take a "peek" and tell us what you think so far. In a little under 2 years, Henry's foundation is at the 150 thousand mark...our goal and yes our team is very goal oriented is to push over 200 thousand by the end of the year....wish us luck...100% of all funds goes direclty to families fighting the beast or to families in need of aftercare when their sweet, precious child has gone on to do bigger n better things. We have used our expeience with Henry and the hospital for almost four years and are making sure our families are served properly. We know the insurance companies won't be worrying about that!

Team Unite. www.teamunite.net has already begun planning on our Spring Grief re-treat. It is for Team unite members /and /or people who need some grief guidence.....whether you've lost a child or if you are still fighting. We also need to make early plans for next Septemeber. This forum will allow us to meet and discuss our plan of attack for next September. our hope is to see that Gold is the new Pink!! God Speed to all of you!

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Fundraising for Christmas!!! Every year we sponsor the families on Henry's stem cell floor!!!

Henry James Vaughn Tucker

December 26, 2000 - June 14, 2007

"Doodle-bug," is the driving force behind all Team Henry and the Henry Tucker Foundation. Henry was diagnosed with B-cell ALL, a commonly treated leukemic cancer, at a mere two and a half years of age. We noticed lymph nodes that were swollen on his neck - after three months of "strange" diagnosis' which included warts and a cold that wouldn"t go away.
With great strength, an unwavering smile, and, well, let’s call it a “unique” sense of humor, Henry balanced countless hospital visits with the curiosity of a wise soul beyond his toddler and pre-school years.
While many of Henry’s friends were transitioning from tricycles to bicycles, our family learned that his three and a half years of remission were ripped away by a rare and aggressive form of t-cell leukemia. Henry’s fight against cancer included three relapses and a bone marrow transplant as he drew his ultimate strength from the love of his family, playing with his cousins and friends, and wishing for a younger brother, Georgie, who arrived five weeks before Henry’s death in June, 2007.
During his all too short time with us, Henry became a walking encyclopedia of all things Star Wars, Power Rangers, Sponge Bob, and dinosaurs and grew ever more passionate about beach vacations and listening to and playing rock music on his drum kit and guitar. He lived a life without judgment and his memory serves as a source of inspiration for his family, friends, and countless supporters of the Henry Tucker Foundation.

STOP CHILDHOOD CANCER!

WE WILL NOT BE IGNORED......www.teamunite.net

I love these e-mails....

Mrs. Tucker,

On behalf of the brothers of the Tau Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at Wabash College, we would like to extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had the priviledge of meeting Henry a couple years ago when he and his father stopped by the Beta house. We were told in advance that they would be having lunch with us and I was glad to finally put a face to the name.

Wanted to share some pics.......Henry's Hydrangeas were planted when i was preggors with him 9 years ago. They were so tiny. Look at them now. He helped me every year with our garden and this year it is the best! Thanks Henry. They were also the only flower at his celebration of life - in… Continue

Reiki ... I'm jealous. You know my friend/social worker to the stars/reiki guide Erica? She did some pretty amazing stuff at Jessica's grave a while back. I think I either posted about it on Jessica's CB, copied HER post about it, or just thought about posting it. :) It was pretty incredible though. I don't know that I'm patient enough for it, but it is definitely intriguing!!

How's the pain today?
