Raise Childhood Cancer Awareness in your community

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) is happy to announce another round of free book distribution of “Alex and the Amazing Lemonade Stand” .  The book was written by my wife and I with help from Alex.  We would encourage you to take a copy to your kid's class or library.  We like to describe the book as an inspiring and true story and will fill people up with emotion and motivation to make a difference in the lives of kids affected by childhood cancer.

If you are interested in receiving a free copy of this age appropriate, fun rhyming book, please email Johanna Butler at-J.Butler@alexslemonade.org with your name and shipping address.

The last time we put this offer out there, you were able to get a lot of copies out into schools.

When my daughter was 6 and fighting cancer for the second time we gave a copy of this book to her school library. The librarian read the book to every class (k-2) and the kids were so taken by the book that they decided to hold a lemonade stand during their book fair. They raised $500. That was the first of many we have had in Georgetown, Texas. This book should be in every library. It inspires and motivates kids to help other kids. It is appropriate for all ages. My child is now 11 and in 5th grade in a different school. We gave her teacher a book and every kid in the class borrowed the book to read it (without being asked). Adults who have read it are truly inspired to make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.
